No, I was never part of either of those groups. I’m not very familiar with Gender Identity Watch but I’ve long been opposed to WoLF, even back when I was a radical feminist. Most detrans women I knew were. We thought they were terrible even years before they started working with the Right. WoLF treated detrans womem very badly. They tried using us and our work for their political agenda and when we pushed back, they said we were still in the “trans cult"! We saw them as a political cult and discourgaged people from working with them. I know detrans women who helped women leave WoLF. They have a tendency to prey on young idealistic women. If there’s one thing we got right it was telling folks to stay far away from WoLF!
